William Hightower Chapter
Our chapter is named for William Calvin Hightower, SAR Patriot # P-181176. His Patriotic Service is as a Signer of the Legislative Petition No 392, Mecklenburg Co, VA, 14 May 1777.

The William Hightower Chapter #35 was chartered on March 9, 1984, in New Braunfels.
According to Billy E. Hightower's biography as TXSSAR President 1989 - 1990 biography “Hightower joined the San Antonio Chapter and organized the William Hightower Chapter in New Braunfels, which is named after his Revolutionary soldier ancestor, William Hightower.” [Ed. Also, Richard Lee "Dick" Robinett Was a Charter Member of the Wm Hightower Chapter, Aaron Burleson, and Boerne Chapters of the Texas Society. He has served as president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and has served and is still serving on all the committees at the chapter level.
